Winter & Christmas Tours in Stresa - Holiday Season Events & Xmas lights on Lake Maggiore 

Do you like Christmas lights and the magical festive atmosphere?  Why not discovering Stresa and the Borromean islands this time of the year?

From December 5th until January 6th 2026 Stresa together with Fishermen's island will be shining all illuminated by beautiful lights. Not simply Christmas decorations but incredible lights covering all the buildings including the old fishermen's houses and church on isola Pescatori.

A unique show not to be missed if you are staying in the lake Maggiore or Milan area in December and beginning of January.

Our  private tour will last approx 2 hours but could also be combined with something else.  It will start from Stresa where I will meet you at 4 pm or 4:30 pm. The first part of the tour will take place in Stresa town and the second part of the tour will be on the water cruising around the illuminated island - Isola Pescatori - to allow you to take pictures and see this amazing light show known as "Isole di Luce" and "The Circle of Lights".  We will get off at Fishermen's island ( isola Pescatori) to enjoy a guided stroll through its picturesque festive lanes seeing the many nativities decorated by the locals, the oold villages' houses and the church. There will also be time for a hot chocolate or mulled wine!
